Just a project or two

I have decided to every now and then do a little craft project. I really enjoy doing them, so why not?! It started when one of my neighbors invited me to do the Easter one with her, and I had so much fun doing that, that I made a sign for my door. Anyway, not too fancy, but something to do!!

A little luck!

My mom and older sister are probably some of the luckiest people I know when it comes to winning things on the radio. To name a few, my mom has won a trip to Cabo and Disneyland, $1000, front row concert tickets, etc. My sister is always winning cd's, tickets for events, and recently, her second time winning a trip to Las Vegas to see a country award show.

Well yesterday I won tickets to Keith Urban's concert in September! I am so excited! It isn't anything like winning a free trip, but I was just excited to hear the phone line ring instead of the usual busy tone. So yipee for me! :>

Happy Birthday!

I just wanted to wish my sister Amanda, a very Happy Birthday! She turned 23 today and is also due to have her baby almost any day now, so sis, enjoy your day!! I love you!!!!

Stake Conference

Yesterday we had a special stake conference where Elder Dallin H. Oaks came to speak. As we got to the church, Jared and I were walking around to see if we could find a seat and as we were walking, we got stopped behind this guy who was leaning halfway in the aisle and halfway in the row. As Jared was about to say "excuse me" to get by, he turned around and it was Elder Oaks!! He shook our hands and said hello, but can you just imagine our faces?? Shocked to say the least! What a great experience it was to see and hear from a member of the 12 Apostles! It makes me more excited now for General Conference in a couple of weeks.

Zack's Blessing

WOW! I am so excited to finally have Zack blessed!!! It was so hard to wait this long, but it was so worth it. I am still smiling about the whole day today! Once again we had so much support and love from family and friends that we just feel so blessed. The day couldn't have been better! OK, Zack could have not cried through the actual blessing part, but even that made me smile and think that even that makes him normal!!
Just a special thanks to all the family who helped with the dinner after and for all their help in the day! It made my job way too easy!! We love you all, and are just so blessed to have had this wonderful day!!!
