Well, for those of you who don't know already (and that is most people...sorry!), we are having a baby! We went to the doctor yesterday and found out we are having a boy. We are so excited... but I just keep thinking that I have no idea what I will do with a boy! I am used to just girls in my family that when the doctor said "boy" all I could think of was "what am I going to do?!"
Anyway, needless to say, I am on cloud 9 and can't wait until October 6th for our little boy to come!!!!

On the countdown!

So I just wanted to add a quick post to say that I am SO proud of Jared!! He is graduating with his master's degree in 10 days, and all I can say is WHEW! I went to his presentation of his project yesterday at school, and I didn't love hearing the negative remarks some of the judges had to say to him, but the positive ones really meant a lot to me. He has worked so hard the past 4 years, and it's so nice to see the light at the end of the tunnel now.
Anyway! Sorry to all who read this, there will be more posts on this subject to come. It's a pretty big deal after all :>

First BBQ of the year!

On Sunday we had some fantastic weather, so we had a BBQ with my fam. It was a lot of fun. We got to meet Charlie, Amanda and Josh's new addition to their family, and we just had fun! I can tell I am ready for Summer!!!

Jared's Birthday!

Happy Birthday Jared! His birthday was on the 7th (but I couldn't edit my blog until now). We went to PF Chang's for dinner, and then to the U2 show at the Clarke Planetarium. We had a good time...

SO, after looking at some of my family and friend's blog pages, I have decided to give this a trial run and see how it goes. According to everyone, they are so much fun and can be very addicting! So, wish us luck, and be patient while I figure this out!
